The Summer Pasta Nobody Talks About


Buona Domenica,

Summer in the south of Italy has its own rhythm and friggitelli are part of it. They are small, sweet green peppers and their season is short. Every year when it arrives we make the most of it.

Not to be confused with friarielli, which are completely different vegetables, they are a regional dish from the south that most of the world has never heard of, including the north of Italy until a few years ago.

This week I made pasta con i friggitelli, a summer pasta you will only find in the south of Italy.
