Potato Pie That Feeds a Crowd, My Mother's Weeknight Dinner From Naples.

Buona Domenica,

When the whole family is at the table on a weeknight, you need one dish that fills every plate.

With six of us at home in Rome, my mother often made gattò di patate, the potato pie from Naples.

It bakes in a single pan, feeds everyone, and the layer of stringy cheese in the middle is also the place to use up your leftover roast.

I hope you are enjoying the recipes I send you during the week.

But how do you choose which one to make❓

Do you follow a strict weekly meal plan, or do you decide based on your inspiration?

As an Italian, I decide just before cooking,😋

..following my mood, the weather, what looks good at the market, what the day itself brings.

With a pantry stocked the Italian way, creativity is your recipe.🥄

You never need a rigid meal plan, and you do not have to go to the market every day either.

If you want to learn the whole system, I have put it in a free email course that starts on Tuesday 13 October.

Join here and I will walk you through it, one step at a time.

buon appetito,

Laura
